Epson C62 Printer Any Good?

Hi All
I've been wanting to pick up a decent printer and this can be had for $50.00 at staples after rebate and such.
I can't buy carts for my HP for that price.
Anyways I'd like some opinions on this printer from people that own or have used one.
PCWorld rated this at #8 out of 10.

Worth it?
Thanks
WB

Well, I have the c60 which is probably almost the same exact thing. I like it. Plentuy fast and good quality.

What you have to remember is that unless you are doing professional photo type stuff...that most printers in this range are very similar. So the main difference is probably in printing cost...this is where epson shines. I dont know what kind of drugs HP and Lexmark are on when they price their cartridges, it makes no sense to me. But you can find 3rd party epson cartridges for less than 5 bucks. Sounds good to me.

Thanks JP
I was going to mention my use for this printer but I wanted to here some opinions before I posted that info.
Anyhow, just looking at something that can print out general word docs, rebates and maybe the occasional graphic image. I have no need for a "photo" quality printer, still have 35mm cameras that need to pay for themselves.

Thanks for your input.

some advice, search through circuit citys and best buys for "open box" printers. last year I got an hp photosmart for 65.00. same parts and labor warranty as new. You can run sale prices and rebates concurrent w/ open box prods. as well. Cartridges are around 31.00 though.
