I just checked in with a friend whose parents work at Duke university and he said they might have a whole stack of them in a store room (he already has one from there), but he'll have to look over Christmas break ( >1 month)...

If you haven't already gotten one or want more, you might want to check out some of the computer shows that travel around. I got two of them for $2 a pop at a computer show and another two at different rummage sales for $1 and $.50. I always keep my eyes open for this type (doesn't matter the brand- I'm on a dell right now, but same style) when at garage sales, flea markets, computer shows, stores, peoples houses, etc, etc, etc. I used to have sore wrists constantly, but no longer have any problems.

Crouse:

Thanks man, this thing is freaking great! It's huge, and it's loud, and it gives you something to push against. Kind of like the difference between those little dinky, hollow keyed music keyboards and the weighted key kind.

Sam

Feels like a "real" keyboard doesn't it

Don't buy from Index Computer

Buy your "brand new" model M like keyboard from Unicomp.com or pckeyboards.com.

Pckeyboards.com send my brand new model M clicky keyboard to me in a very professional crash proof foam box, with professional invoice attached. They even call me 5 minutes after I placed the order to confirm the shipping method that I didn't select properly when I placed my order. Excellent!!!!! Will order 10 more from them before the end of this year.

Do not ever buy from Index Computer. They are refurbished keyboards and the one they sent me is hardly operational. Half of the keyboard is "STICKY" instead of clicky. Need to use a hammer to type. They are also very fussy about returning. I tried to return the bad keyboard, but they told me to wait until their 1800 is working or I have to dial a long distance number. They won't resolve the matter with me over the e-mail. E-mail reply they sent me are also very unprofessional and rude. Most Horriable shopping experience I ever had and will never never never never buy from them ever ever ever again.
