LF wireless KB & Mse 20-30' range

All the wireless keyboard and mouse combo's I run across have 6' range from the receiver.
Do any of you have a line on some with greater range,
That you would recommend
A friend needs 20 to 30 ft range but 15 might work if it truely 15 ft.

My first question was, why would you need such a thing, but then I remembered my son's middle school teachers used them (had video projectors in every room).
