Kids What about SysTechnology?

To all:

I'm new to Resellerratings.com. I've purchased many computers in the past. Most of the time from the Dells and HPs. I'm looking for something that's not so proprietary. First, I came across ABS Computers. They seemed to be pretty reliable until I came across this site and read many reviews of individuals having a lot of DOA problems (not to mention PCWorlds latest Reliability Service in which tech support appears to abysmal). I also came across SysTechnologies. They appear to offer a good array of stuff (for relatively low prices) and a generous warranty. However, their reseller rating is pretty low. THe reviews indicate that they may have been pretty poor in the past with tech support but have come full circle now and appear to be gaining loyal shoppers. Has anyone had much experience with Sys? I'm fearful of DOAs. Does SYS have a lot of them?
Any information would be appreciated.

ABS has a six month rating of 8.37, which is a rather high number. Most of the posts had praise, with a couple people (out of several dozen recent posts) sounding like they had been burned. Most of the negatives surrounded issues like the fact that it took 8 days to recieve a system (not an unreasonable amount of time, IMHO) or the fact that the buyer would have to pay shipping to return defective parts (many companies do this). Systechnologies has had no ratings in the past six months at all-I would avoid them due to this (espeically on something as large as a complete system). Also, ABS is owned by Newegg, the most popular parts retailer amoungst people in the community. I would go with ABS-if I bought a whole system, I would buy it from ABS (unless there was a great deal elsewhere).
