FrozenCPU.com

Anyone bought from frozencpu.com? I know everyone is singing their praises but... I Jus found that the vidblock the guy sold me and TOLD me would work won't fit my Radeon 9700, and my CPU block has big scratches on it. E-mailed them about it and asked if I could trade in the vidblock for a different block that is the same price. What I got back was: "...No returns, all sales are final... We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you.." Jesus.... Never even touched the damn thing & they won't even take a look at it & let me get a vidblock that will work for me! Great buying from them but what a horrible return policy!
Thanx for letting me vent....

EDIT: Got new block and case being worked on. Thanx Mark

Well reading through their reviews at reseller ratings tells me one thing about them.

Good prices, good shipping, good speed, good packaging.

HORRIBLE return policy. Not one good review mentions ANYTHING about having a successful return and/or exchange due to any circumstances, and every negative review seems to center around that.

It is a case of take the risk - pretty much like buying at a PC auction. You get gold, or fools gold. You just make do with what you get.

While I jus fitted the case I got from them and found that the exaust fan is interfering with my CD-Rom placement. I can't put it in all the way and the door won't close.... You would think they would test their own design! I'll have to put somethin else there then. sigh....

Techteen-

When you came into the store with your Mom to purchase your watercooling gear, Stan and myself told you that there is no refunds on any watercooling products due to the nature of the products and the overseas production of the product. All Innovatek products are hand built in Germany and importing them is very difficult. Because they are hand made, a light imperfection in the metal may be evident but in no way will be detrimental to the perfomance of the waterblock.

If you need to exchange it for yet another block- simply bring it in and we will exchange it

PS- On a side note- When you were in the store, I also told you how to get that cooler to fit on your card with epoxy.

I am sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you and I wish you all the best

Forgot to add that they did let me get a diff chipset block BTW: I didn't want a refund, jus a diff block, and was afraid that that block would interfear w/ ramsinks and I prefer to screw down my blocks b/c I am constantly doing somethin. Works fine but whats up with that case?
Thanx
