Talk Good PC Camera?

I need assistance purchasing a good PC camera. It will primarily be used for entertainment purposes, I just need something decent at a good price....no more than a $100.00. What should I look for in a camera?

Thanks

Milan:
Are you talking about a digital camera or a webcam when you say
"PC camera"? Sorry I didn't read carefully before posting.

There are a lot of 1 - 1.3 megapixel cameras out there now. My
Hewlett Packard is almost two years old now, and it does very well, and uses a Compact flash memory card, which have come
down in price as well. The only thing I don't like, is that it seems
to really like batteries

I believe Fuji, among others make a pretty decent low-priced
camera. I would stick with a name brand, and they're all more than likely comparably priced.

If you're looking for a webcam for your PC, there are some pretty good ones for around $80 or so. Just make certain it uses a "CCD"
as opposed to a "CMOS" chip.

You'll get some other suggestions here, as well. Good luck.

WB:
My HP is a 1 MP model 215. Personally, I tend to stay away from
refurbished. They might be just fine, it's just my own philosophy.

But it's good that we put out all of the options out there that we can to help each other. That's why this is such a good community.
Thanks.

I personally have had very good luck with refurbs. I think the thing to look for is the company thats doing the refurb. If HP is doing the refurb I would trust the product as I would be able to call them with any problems.
IMO if any company is going to sell there product as a refurb and there not going to stand behind there product they should either wipe there name off such product or thow it in the dumpster.

I know you were looking to stay at $100.00 but officemax has a HP 2.31 MP on close out for $129.99, normally $199.99.

Heres the link

I saw it , too, WB. You beat me to the post. Model 318. 2.31 MP.
Doesn't say anything about an optical zoom, but for that price for
a new 2 MP camera, it's hard to beat.

There may even be an OfficeMax coupon floating around
somewhere.
