Trouble with Palit Microsystems

I bought a used Palit Ti4200 which is now dead. I know it is still under their 1-year warranty, but I can't get any replies from them. Has anyone dealt with them? They have a few sites, like http://www.palit.com.tw/ and http://www.palit.de/ but none respond to emails. I really need to RMA this and am quite irritated.

Wow, never heard of them-thought I'd heard of them all. They must not sell in the USA.

I actually got ahold of someone at both the German and US offices, but they both claim that they don't do RMAs for end users, only for suppliers. Since the manufacturer's warranty is 1 year and the supplier's is 30 days, what do they expect me to do after 30 days? I'm going to continue fighting with the German office in the hopes they'll take it back.

To sum it up: don't buy Palit products.

I finally got ahold of someone from the Taiwan branch and they refuse to honor the warranty without going through a reseller. This is ridiculous - what kind of manufacturer warranty takes the manufacturer out of the picture? I filed a complaint at www.econsumer.gov - anyone have suggestions as to what else can be done?

Well, they sound like clowns. With that type of service, I'll probably never hear about them again. Good.
