They may give you hassle, and only instore credit. But an unopened product could always have been a gift hence no receit. I'd say give it a shot if it isnt opened. If not they will charge you a 15% open box fee and a restock fee. Bleh to best buy's return policy
i tried to return something to bb several months ago and they wouldnt' even give me store credit. i had gotten a router and an mp3 player from them 3-4 months earlier with a win xp ugrade promotion. tried to return them one at a time sans reciept......no worky. so i took them back to circuit city for $200 credit! anyway....just my experience. your results may be different.
