another option is to link your checking acct to your paypal acct. i've done this a while back and it is quite safe.

fyi, the reason why the seller can't accept paypal paymt linked to your credit card is because there is a limit to the total dollar amount collected against credit cards for his account. once that limit is reached, the seller would need to pay an addt'l fee to be able tor receive "credit card" paypal payments.

I didn't know about the credit card account limit. I know some sellers won't accept credit card payments because there's an additional fee involved. You can't "transfer" money from your credit card into your paypal balance. You either keep some money in there when you make a sale, or transfer it from your bank account.

Ok if your credit card is on your paypal account any time you send money it will take from your paypal balance, IF you dont have enough then it will charge your credit card for the remaining owed balance if it is successful then it will send the whole thing if it isn't then (say it declines) It will notify you

Good luck

Hi,

No, you can't add funds to your account from a credit card. You could only send a payment from the credit card.

Hi that1guy,

Having your bank account on file with PayPal does not give us unilateral access to your bank account. Strict regulations are in place for electonic transfers (at the federal level).

The information you provide us with to be verified is the same information on the bottom of every check you write.
