Silicon Valley Compucycle (SVC)?????

Hi,

Has anyone had any dealings with this co?

I looked at the BBB for Silicon Valley and couldn't find them listed.

Resellersratings.com doesn't rate them although they have some glowing endorsements from supposed satisfied customers. A couple of these just seem too similar to me or it may just be my suspiscious mind.

I bought 3 cables from them the shipping said 5-6 days but recieved it in 3 days i would rate then good. The packaging was good too.

I would say BEWARE of this company. I bought 3-4 orders of coolers from them, no problems. However, they are not reachable via telephone, only email, if you do have a problem, and their return policy is 'if u open it u can't return it'.

I asked for an RMA on a $10 cpu cooler that I took out of the cardboard box and plugged into the MB and turned on to see how loud it was--waaay too loud---didn't apply hsf compound or anything.

-They won't take it back if its been 'opened'.
-You can't reach them if you want to discuss it, only via email. I would say that is bad business.

I would have to agree with the contact notion, however I have ordered maybe 10 fans and a couple of cathodes from them with no problem.

I agree about contact and communication... However, I use them for all my Rounded Cable and "Accessories" .... their prices with these types of items are great and I have never had a problem.

Yes, but I read the review on them AFTER I had the problems. I was fooled by the low prices, and I agree with the cables ordering--I bought cables from them (with no probs, either).
