AnandTech is definitely the high-volume site for online trading. Of course the people at TechIMO are nicer.

I couldn't agree more. Good polite traders here, and Socalgal (and others) keep the Trolls out!

IF you do trade ANYWHERE online follow the trade guidelines to the letter! If it sounds to good to be true, it IS! Be very careful and make sure you ask for references that you can verify. I have only been bit once, but that was enough.....

Wherever you go, be sure to use Heatware.com extensively. i have done some trading at ArsTechnica and Anandtech and have had some deals that I came close to getting burned on. I usually try TechIMO (or the-site-that-not-be-named before TechIMO was around) first b/cof the people and the moderation (Socalgal/MntSnow (when he was a trollhunter)).

I remember Socalgal having a cow about linking to other forums, so I'll just name a few: Ars Technica, PCA (PC Abusers), TechIMO (of course ), and AMDZone.

Edit: and excuse my French, but screw HardOCP. They wouldn't let my yahoo address slide b/c it was free, yet they would let trolls with stolen or made up ISP e-mail accounts roam free. Also their moderators are trolls.

I don't have any great liking for hard ( most of the time I'm at Anandtech ) but I wouldn't call York1 a troll and they don't have anymore trolls then Anandtech or any of the other forums. ( Does seem to be less of a problem here then at the other forums )

anandtech is fine as far as FS/FT is concerned.
I was a diamond member there till I blew the lids off a mod who was being an ass !
So I left the place / they banned me ...... whatever you like to believe .

lol..... the comments which were there in the mod thread were too childish for me to take them very seriously. The mods get very personal, very easily there.

So if u do not get into issues there and stick to trading it is a good place.

I usually frequent arstech ( agora), PCA forums , fatwallet , got apex , Tech IMO , H-OCP and here of course now.

BTW : A lot many older members have left anand's over this year now due to such issues.
