A rant about UPS

I think this is the worst shipping company to receive a package from. All the packages that I ordered from online stores that were shipped via UPS arrived past 6PM. There was a time when they delivered a package at 10:30PM. I've never had a problem like this with either USPS or Fedex.

I don't care to receive stuff at home by UPS either. It makes a big difference if you're on residential or business delivery though. If you're at a business, it's around 10:00 am. If at home it's (apparently) whenever they darn well please. I recall receiving a cylinder head (that I'd been waiting for days for) pretty late one night. I wasn't too pleased with them...

When I ship I usually do USPS for smaller things and FedEx for larger stuff and had good results.

Too many online vendors use UPS so there's no getting away from the brownshirts. That's unfortunate because their standard of "service" has been poor for a LONG time now but you're forced to do business with them sooner or later.
