HEADS UP!

A review for EStoreToGo has brought to our attention that they are in the same boat as Z-Buy and CNETPC!!!

And a fraudulent user has been busted using multiple accounts to raise their own ratings, which included four resellers here at resellerratings.com: Z-Buy.Com, CNETPC, EStoreToGo, and yet another!: L-Buy.Com!

Heads up if you plan on sending your money in any of these directions, as not only do they have a well deserved bad rep [even with some still lingering fraudulent positive posts], but this is an excellent example of just how crooked they are!

I don't know what kind of experience you had with L-buy.com but I ddidn't have any problems with them. I've ordered ibm hard drive from them and received it few days later. If you meant that my review is fraudelent under L-buy.com account I would be very carefull about judging reviews without verifiying. If you made a mistake you need take it with administration of this site.

Guilty conscious, mr? In what part of that did you feel the accusations were directed at you? Do you work for one of those "company" 's?

As for the administrator:

The last line of defense is good old fashioned manual detective work. We do it from time to time when it looks like a company is posting reviews for themselves, etc., to prove or disprove that notion.

Now, in regards to your specific accusations, I personally investigated and found that in this case, you were right. Three users posted positive reviews for cnetpc, z-buy, estoretogo, and l-buy.com that are bogus. They have been removed.

danger, im surprised when I heard about z-buy as I ordered and received in good time PC2700 ram (Samsung chips) which was exactly what I ordered. Did a check with simmtester and the ram is in tip top condition. If I would remember my invoice number I would personally give them a good review. (no im not being paid for saying that *LOL*) and y'all (difficult for a scot to say that you know) got me worried when I started seeing bad reviews about them.

Well I gave L-Buy a very bad review...as of now 6 days later I have not heard from them. Try calling them (good luck !) My creditcard has a hold for the amount telling me the order went through ok. So caveat emptor my friends.

Scott has alread taken action in removing the fraudulent posts! He da man. In the Suggestions forum, under FRAUDULENT RATINGS.

And the second worst part about companies like these is how they randomly produce a happy customer...adding to the chaos.

yep, i did the first post, I honestly had no problems and thought it was a good company and was going to order more from them later...heck i was going to order some more stuff tonight and decided to recheck resellerratings -
but with all this going on, no way.. i feel bad that someone might get screwed cause of my post.
