Gaming EdgeMicro is lousy

I have learned a good lesson about fully researching my purchases now and it didn't cost me very much, like many that loose 100 dollars. this is over 15 but it is a matter of policy. I realize this company is shadey now, but I am just asking for some guidance on the best way to get that 15 back. They say I owe them 15 for cancellation, but their policy says only after processing do i owe them that fee, credit company says they requested the credit AFTER I cancelled the order on the phone with them. This means I cancelled the order then they requested credit anyways. well i tried to contact them, got them on the phone after 30+min wait then they just said "There will be a charge" and hung up on me, TWICE!! I was curteous the whole time and I have also sent email that has yet to be responded to. My credit card company said they will help dispute, but in the meantime, i am out the 15 plus the 120 for the order cause they won't credit it for 3-4 weeks which is also rediculous. They are located at www.EdgeMicro.com .Any suggestions besides stay away from this poor excuse for a company.

Did you post a negative rating over at Reseller Ratings?

Sorry to hear that, at least it wasnt a large sum of money. Please make sure that you post on their sales tactics over at reseller ratings.

I will for sure Rate the poorly, for those of you who don't know they have changed their name to escape previous bad ratings, formerly ComputerXpress and InternationalComputerXpress beware these both have ratings under 3 and are in unfavorable standings with the Oregon BBB

And don't forget to rate accordingly in all the catergories!

I've notice a lot of ratings of companies that rip people of having good numbers in their pricing. If you get ripped off, then the price was NOT good. What they put on their website is not what should be rated here, but rather, what the bottom dollar ended up being (including your time, toll charges, shipping, fees, lost money...etc). Don't forget that stuff, people. And I will most definately stay away from EdgeMicro. I purchased from them once quite sometime ago...can't recal what it was offhand, but then I found this place, and have since avoided them. They're not a reputable kinda place. Too many horror stories much like my own with other merchants.

Just be glad it's disputable...that sucks that you're out of the money for now, but you will most likely get the charge removed from your account, and they [EdgeMicro] will get a nice little fee from your bank/card company.

[EDIT]

Was it two charges, or one of $135? That's SUPER shady of them to do so in one charge...give you a fee for cancelling, and still adding the order cost to the charge. And if it's two charges...heh heh, they'll be getting twice the dispute fee! I hope they get NAILED to the wall for that crap.

I worked for this company at one point. All the stories you hear are TRUE. They suck sucks. They in NO WAY CARE about the buyers. The restocking fee is wrong. Half the items shipped are wrong or intentionaly incorrect. ALL OF THEIR EMPLOYEES THAT OPPOSED THE WAY THEY TREAT THE CUSTOMER HAVE BEEN FIRED! They will take your money and run. ALL RETURNS TAKE AT LEAST 30 DAYS NO MATTER WHAT!!!! THEY GET 12 BBB COMPLAINTS A DAY!

UPDATE: it has been awhile, but evrything has been fixed, I told my credit company and they put some pressure on them I guess, I got all my money back including the bogus restocking fee. I was lucky this time
