The moderators can track IP's if they are coming from the same location.
I agree with you Emc2, all the posts do sound alike.
I am curious Geotpf, were you looking at buying from them? How did you happen upon this?
Speaking for myself, I have ordered from them a few times when I worked at my last job (had an account) and never had any problems with them. None of the orders were much to speak of...

I looked at the main page of Resellerratings, and Scott changed the front page to show the ten last posts, and seven of the ten were Dartek...

Hello,
I am one of the people who posted today about Dartek. I called my rep today and he had asked if I had ever heard of this site. I said that I had used it in the past. I haven't had to use it recently since I have changed vendors in quiet awhile.
Anyway, he mentioned that they had a very low rating. I checked it out and sure enough they had been slammed by a mistake they had made. A mistake that several other retailers have all made.
It is wrong to take advantage of a price mistake for something you know is wrong. People who order computer parts a lot know you are not going to get the newest Nvidia (or whatever) video card that retails for $400 for $20. Web companies have a responsibilty to make sure their prices are accurate, but consumers have a responsisibity to not take advantage of retailers.
Dartek is getting a raw deal on this site. Regardless of what score they have here... my company will continue to use them. I will contiune to recommend them to others. If they maintain the good work they are doing and have been doing... they will continue to succeed.

Folks: Dartek made one small pricing mistake many many months ago and a bunch of whiners headed over to RR to attack them after Dartek didn't fulfill orders at the erroneous price. That's what lowered their rating. They are now sending customers to ResellerRatings in an attempt to improve their average. The IP's of the recent users check out fine.

Ok that makes sense. I noticed the video card error was the reason for the low rating earlier (but didn't mention it in my post , sorry), but it just looked strange that they for the last 10 posts, 7 came from the same company. I'm glad to hear there was no fraud.

I also posted today and it was because my account manager informed me that they had one of the worst ratings on this website. I really couldn't believe that but then went on to read posts from a bunch of whiners who didn't get a steal of a deal even though they knew it was a mistake. So I posted nothing but the truth because I have been very happy with service from Dartek, much happier than with CDW and Multiwave who both have MUCH higher ratings. They aren't sending us over there, they are just asking if we could help them out. A small price to pay for the outstanding service I receive every day.

In fact, it's good to see a company referring people here, especially since they were being rated low for a rather unfair reason. In any case, it's working, thier rating is now up to 2.10. At this rate, a few more days of satisfied customers, and they should be a little closer to what they should be rated.
