Any RMA experience with CompGeeks?

Anyone besides Dangerseeker(sorry I know you've had a bad experience) had any experiences good or bad? I have requested an RMA for my Abit KG7Raid Mobo. Haven't heard back yet. I would almost rather just get my money back. But if I had to get another Abit it would be better than keeping this very large keychain.

Anyone?

I had to RMA a Hard Disk once. It's been a couple of years so I don't remember too many details. I did get a replacement, but, it took a little longer than I would have liked. Maybe 2 weeks?

A few months ago I bought a mobo that was bad, and they sent the RMA next day air, and paid return shipping on the bad one. Pretty good I thought. But the replacement is now dead.

My experiances

It's been around 10 months

Wow brainchild not exactly what I wanted to hear. Don't suppose it was the KG7Raid Mobo.

I bought a PC from them that was DOA. They arranged return shipping and a refund. No problems.

Did they make you do a bunch of testing after you requested an RMA? My reset button stays lit now. I've tried repacing all components and nothing.

This is a backup computer so time is not critical but I would like something to happen.

The Geeks didn't make me do any tests on the Hard Disk but, when I got the new one there was a note inside the box that sayed the drive I returned failed several tests that they ran on it.

Mike

EDIT: It may have been in an Email that I got from them. Point is, they did test it before swapping my drive for me.

No I did a Q&A thing on the phone about 5 minutes, and setup delivery, RMA# and all that kind of thing. Got MOBO next day

Thanks

I'm tempted to give it to a friend and see if he can get it to boot. I'm only 99% sure it is bad. It detects the IDE hard drive about one out of ten tries. I've tried 3 different HDD.
