U-Bid experiences anyone?

Just curious. Seems like some decent prices even though shipping is quite high. Takes forever it seems for the auctions to actually close.

I've ordered from them many times, always got my stuff in one peice and all in good working condition, there are alot of bid snipers there, when its like the last min, a person bids the i think after that bid the auction is help for like 5-15 min, probably 15 min longer. If no one bid within that 15 min the auction closes.

I have had some bad experiences. Since that time I have realized that refurbished means defective. Also, new can also be refurbished (and hence = defective). I have quit using them entirely, except maybe if some fibre channel stuff goes on there for dirt cheap. I have gotten plenty of good deals, it just happens that I remember the bad ones. I might add, that Ubid has always backed up their inventory as far as refunds go, even if it takes a real real long time. Do not try buying from their Ubid preferred members. Ubid doesn't support them, and to date I have only ordered 3 times from preferred members and 2 times have been nightmares. Basically in a nutshell, I don't recommend them whatsoever. I do occasionally browse their site, but haven't bought anything in about 9 months. Last September I made an order, and got parts in January/February this year. They were defective. I haven't tried ordering from them since that time. They could have gotten better, who knows.

I haven't bought anything from them in over a year, but when I did, I never had a problem with them. Everything I purchased was in working order, so I don't know about there return/replace procedure.
