Outdoors PCMod's sucks....

I sure do wish I had visited this site prior to placing my order with these guys for my CoolerMaster ATC-201 case.

The first thing that these people lack is customer service. This "Christy" must be a handicapped monkey with lipstick in her eyes, because she cannot spell nor speak grammatically correct English (Albeit I am no English Major). Furthermore, her insight on various products that PCMods offers is lackluster at best.

The second thing has to be contacting them on the phone. You can't, whatsoever. I tried several times at many different times during the day to talk to someone, never happened. I even left messages trying to change my order, but 'nobody' ever got back to me.

The third is shipping. They charge you at least double what it costs to ship your actual products. I paid 22.86 for shipping on my case, when ALL other retailers I contacted after my was already enroute said I could have it UPS Ground for ~ $11. Argh.

So, here I sit, June 20th, and my case will be here today, however I am somewhat distressed. I found another retailer that is selling the same EXACT case for $162.00 USD and I can have it shipped 2nd Day Air for about ~ $39. So naturally I contacted PCMods to see if they can do anything for me? Guess what, no.

"Christy" said that if I want to return the case I would be charged a 15% restocking fee. What the hell. So, in a immature retaliation, I called her a manbeast, said her company sucked and would never would order from them again.

Bah!

Ya, live in and learn as they say.

Just thought I would let you guys know, because this is just horrible. It is so hard to find and honest, hard-working online retailer anymore. One of my most trusted recently screwed me over (TC Computers) and I fought with them for 2 weeks to get my stuff.

thats because the online retailers dont make squat when they sell something. they have a very small markiup on lots of stuff. So, there not gonna do much for that $25 they just made. If you want service to a local shop and pay a little extra. If you want it cheap buy it online. Thats just how it is. There are VERY few online retailers that will bust there chops for any customers that dont drop a lot of cash there. Most of the people here are only about price and you have to remember that you always get what you pay for. If you bought it cheap, expect cheap service.

For your information I have spent over $800 there, so don't accuse me of buying cheap. I do not buy cheap.

[Edit]

Plus if they would have just given me some kind of credit to keep my business I woulda have been happy.

Nevertheless, they shouldn't have forced me to keep the case by charging me a 15% open box fee. That is just moronic.

i hate to tell ya that, thats just a drop in there bucket. $800 is nothing to them. People spend that much there all day long. $10,000+ might get ya something.

and i wasnt accusing you of being cheap. I was just stating that the cheapest price comes with the cheapest service.

I agree with you on the "cheap" saying, however, I am a little aware of the cost of certain items; seeing I work for CompUSA. However, it can be argued that there is a difference between local and web based retailers the pratice is still the same.

We sell LianLi cases at work, and there is a 'huge' markup. As well with the Antect, Enlight, and other case we sell. As for the CoolerMasters I have no idea.

[Edit]

The company is www.sundialmicro.com, and it is on sale. Normally 239.00 if I remember right.
