Systems 512M PC2700 from M.tec?

I got a memory sticker from Buyaib.com, it is supposed to be DDR PC2700, but I'm not sure about that. Following is the mark on the chip:
M.tec
02164
TTD7608F8E75B

I found a 256MB PC2100 memory sticker that has a similar mode number:
M.tec
0209D
TTD7608F8E75B

I really doubt that it is a real PC2700 memroy sticker since the reputation of that company is really bad. Do any body know about this memory sticker? I'm not sure if I should return it or not.

Holy smokes Batbuddy, they have a Reseller rating of 1.88!!! You have to really work at it to get a rating that low. Looking at the comments posted, it looks like they do this EXACT SAME THING (selling 2100 as 2700) all the time, not to mention other bait and switch type things (ordering a new DVD drive of one brand, getting a used/refurb of another, that type of thing).

Well, as of right now there is no industry standard on PC2700. It is basically just stably overclocked PC2100.

And welcome to TechIMO

Well, I can push this thing to 400MHZ, it seems that it runs stable, but I got my system corrupted twice when I turned on my computer in the next moring after I had shut it down safely in the last night. I had to reinstall my system twice. Don't know if the memory is the culprit or not.
