Outdoors alvio.com <--world's worst reseller

Everyone please spread the word, and STAY AWAY FROM ALVIO. do not be fooled by the low prices, these people will not ship your goods, and they will bill you in a hurry. if it arrives DOA, which seems common with them, they will charge a 15% restocking fee. May take up to two weeks for them to ship, and their customer service is non-existent. DO not buy from alvio. I reported them to the BBB, for more info please go to http://resellerratings.com/seller2029.html Thank You for reading and passing the word along

*BUMP* This place is a rip off and there is no easier way to say it. Read my thread called "Avoid AVApc.com like the plague" on this board for what happened to me. Long story short, STAY AWAY from AVApc, Alvio Corp, and MG Electronics (all the same company)

no, I am not working two accounts, I live in CA. I think there are just a lot of people similarily dissatisfied with alvio. Sorry about the late post, im in france and dont get on the net much out here. Update: Alvio did get my stuff to me a couple of days before I left, and it was in working order. They sent it the day that I called them to cancel my order. If you are still waiting for your stuff, threatening to cancel may speed up the process.

Low Budget Clowns Here

Hello,

I'm a small business owner that has never taken the time out of my day to write an online review. However, after dealing with this online merchant - I've now found the time.

If you at all value your time, money or sanity - buy somewhere else. This merchant is insane. The buying process was easy (I bought a PC case). The unit arrived 10 days after purchase, slow, but whatever. Then after it didn't fit my PC I called up to ask for an RMA number for return. The owner/customer service/sales guy (this is a very small shop trying to look big) took my call. He proceeded to tell me how he can't resell the thing after I opened it. Although nothing has been done with it, apparently opening the plastic around it severed all value to the part. He then went off in his Russian accent (who knows, he may actually be IN Russia) to tell me about how there is a "government regulation" that won't allow him to accept the return. Interesting, not sure what government he's talking about --but surely not a capitalist one. I then told him I'd be handling it through my credit card company and disputing. He told me he'd sue me and it would ruin my credit (yes, this is the "customer service" line people.)

Anyways, a horrible experience. A shoddy company that is looking to rip people off. If you don't believe me, just call their customer service line. 800-552-4204. They'll answer with a, "Hello." That's it, nothing else. As if they're up in their bedroom on the computer. That's if you get an answer at all, took me three days to get a hold of them. Or email them with a question. Still haven't heard anything back on that one...

Just steer clear and buy from a reputable company. Wish I had.

Wow talk about a thread resurrected from the dead.

He can sue you all he wants, but he can't ruin your credit even if he could win... which he can't. LOL

His website is all messed up in FireFox... what kind of a computer parts person is he that he doesn't support FireFox?

He does not have a real-time credit card gateway because he accepts any credit card number that passes the Luhn algorithm.
