Stonewall is on a distinguished road

I have had one of the worst shop-on-line experiences with Mypccity.com. I must tell someone about it.

I puchased a PC for a friend using my credit card. received the pc and it worked fine for 1 day, then the hard-drive failed. I returned the hard-drive. 2 weeks later i receive the new hard-drive in the manufacturere's box with a sealed drive in antistatic package. I tested the hard-drive and it gave me an error that it was unusable and to return it to the manufaturer. I called Mypccity and informed them of the failed drive. I then returned the drive to them. 2 weeks later I received the new drive. This one worked.

Here is the kicker, I see a charge on my credit card for $82 from Mypccity. I call and they tell me they have no record of the second hard-drive that I returned so they charged me for the 3rd hard-drive that was sent to me. I really don't know what to do now so I am telling of my experience so that other folks are aware of what type of company this is.

Sincerely, very frustrated,
Jerry Jackson

Just me again.
Would like to let everyone know that Mypccity did refund the $82 that they charged to my credit card for the hard-drive I returned.

After many phone calls they found that an employee in the shipping department had the faulty drive shipped directly from thier distributor to my home, therefore they had no record of the serial number for that drive. So when I returned it they thought it was not thier drive and charged me for the new drive that they sent to me.

Anyway the hard-drive is working fine but I would shy away from doing business with this company if you can.
