I will never ship via Fex Ex again!

I ordered a router from a local computer store (comready) on the 7th of may. It still has not arrived yet. I know that if I used UPS, which is cheaper, that it would arrive in 5-7 days. This has taken over 2 weeks! I am really pissed off at them. Also, there is a $20 mail in rebate that I want to send in before it expires on the 31 of may. If i dont get it by then Fed Ex better reimburse me.

Could it be due to the company (ie - backorder, late shipping, lost order, etc.)? If you've got a tracking number and FedEx has had it since around the 9th-10th (ample time for any company to ship something in stock), then I would contact FedEx, but if the company can't provide a tracking number, then I'd take it up with them... IMHO... I've not had any trouble with FedEx... (Not to say it can't happen)

You should have a tracking number. You can find out exactly where that package is this minute. If you don't have a tracking number, you need to get it from whoever shipped the package. (And even without a tracking number, their customer service has always been outstanding in my experience...they can still help you...have you called and talked to them?)

Fed Ex is the best overnight shipping company bar none. I used to be responsible for shipping 5 - 25 (or more) overnight packages every single day. I did this for a little over 3 years. Always used Fed Ex. Not one lost package ever. And the very few times they were late (we're talking hours late, not days) it was circumstances out of their control (bad weather at airports, etc.).

I have a tracking number and have been tracking it since I ordered it. They keep delaying the expected date. First it was the 15th then it was the 18th and now it is the 21st. It has been sitting in the same place for the past 5 days.

Well, what's their excuse for the delays? And what priority shipping method was used to ship?

For domestic shipping they should never take longer 5 business days, no matter what method was used. If it's really been in one place for 5 business days then you should be raising a ruckus with them over the phone. Keep talking to supervisors until someone can help you.

But if your shipper sent it via the cheapest method (I believe that would FedEx Ground) then it can take up to 7 days (5 business days + the weekend), so bear that in mind.

I personally have never had any problems with fedex (so far). I think they are cheaper than UPS to ship stuff out and they've always came on time for me. I hope things work out for you.
