Anyone used ACIcomputerstore.com?

I was wondering if anyone has purchased from www.acicomputerstore.com. They have what I want and for the right price but I'd like to know if anyone has had any experience with them, good or bad. I'd appreciate any info. Thanks

I just ordered a laptop from them on the 7th and it didn't finally ship out until the 20th. I called them on the 13th and they said it would be sent out that day. But to my suprise it wasn't. I called them again and they said it would be out in about 2 to 3 days. I asked them why they lied to me and they didn't have an answer. but the next day it was shipped out. I still have yet to receive it but I wouldn't suggest you order from them.

watch out, these guys are the same as newgenpc and american computech, the prices are great but if you check with bbb and reseller ratings, it definetly isn't worth it

I ordered a system from NewGenPc(another front company)They had a nice 1.3gig Duron barebone. It cost 204.04 for the whole deal(includes shipping)

I heard about them,but decided to try them anyway. Hope I don't live to regret it. I did email them and ask if they have the item in stock. They replied yes they do. Funny tho the address on their reply is from AmericanComputer Store.

I finally got my I-Buddie from them and luckly it has worked great and I have yet to have to deal with them again. After all my complaining to them they did rush my order and I got it in about 2 days. Thats 4 days sooner then I expected.

I ordered a barebone Duron system from NewGenPc on 6/21/02 I got my order on 6/21/02. Everything is working good so far.

Sorry about the date mix-up. It took about 8 days for it to get here. My comp has been up and running for 127 days. So far NewGenPc has done alright by me.


About the only thing I don't like about the system is the way the power supply is mounted. Makes it hard to dust out the supply when it needs it. But I suppose that is problem with SuperCase and not NewGenPc.

I bought a motherboad, CPU and memory from these people and when the parts arived the motherboard did not work. I ended up having to call them 2 times and then call the motherboard manufacturer before they would even give me a RMA number. Now, 4 months later the motherboard is dead again. I went an E-mail to their tech support to verify the board was dead do i could get another RMA #. I got an "Auto-responce" that said that they would contact me within 24-48 hours. After 5 DAYS i sent them another (less polite) e-mail and got a nasty responce back. I dont know how they even stay in business, but I STRONGLY advise NOT to order from this Company.

Pay a little more, stick with the top rated firms.

If you can build you're own, go to Deals and Steals thread on this site. Hunt for rebates. Plan your submissions carefully, you'll usually need receipt, cutout of UPC barcode and serial number. HDs, CDRW, memory you'll get your savings. Pay a technician to teach you how to assemble a PC. Invest in yourself.
