Silver Conductive Pen

I bought a CircuitWorks brand pen from Action Electronics ($14.92 + 6.75 ship) but it apparently was sitting on the shelf so long that the material had begun to dry out! So thick it would not flow no matter how many times I agitated the metal ball inside.

Anyway, can anyone recommend a site that keeps fresh stock?

If you have bought a conductive pen that actually flowed freely please let me know and point me to their site.

Thanks.

I can not reccomend any places, but I did find a lot of sources doing a goggle search.

Pehaps you can add a little alcohol or acetone to it?

I thought of that, AMDKT7 but I don't know which fluid to add. If I put the wrong type in there it might coagulate, making things worse.

I originally found Action Electronics from a Goggle search.
I'm looking for recommendations from folks who have successfully purchased such a pen. I mean, some places out there probably rotate their stock more often meaning I'm more likely to get a good pen....not one of these expensive dried up pieces of uh.........'stuff'.

I would try mixing a small amount separately with different things, nothing to lose, though I'd make sure that it dried properly.

Good luck with it!

I'd try checking out the oc's sites and order from a linked site. I think you just had bad luck and you should demand a refund if you got a dried out pen.
