Canadians - I need your help!
I have a friend in Alberta who needs a new keyboard, which Im buying to be shipped there. Now I cant find any US stores that ship to canada, and the ones that do either charge you 13 bucks to ship a 6 dollar keyboard thru USPS, and say it will take up to 6 weeks, or they charge your 30+ bucks for Worldwide Expidite (Specifically compgeeks.com).
I think it would be best if I could find a reputable canadian reseller and order thru them.
Heres the problem - I cant find ANY canadian online resellers.
I just need a keyboard, nothing else. Aiming for less than 15 bucks shipped, or 20 bucks shipped if its more than a generic keyboard. I would like it to get there ASAP, but not too concerned as long as its less than 2 weeks or so.
Any ideas? I know we got a healthy chunk of canadians who know the pains and toils of trying to order computer parts online (actually thats the #1 thing that stopping me from moving to canada...no joke!), so any help is appreciated.

Hi AuraEdge. I was reading this and I thought "What about Future Shop?"
So I hit www.futureshop.ca and did a search on keyboards and found one for 9.99 (Cicero SKII-P PC Keyboard).
I don't know if your freind could just go there and pick one up but they say it "usually" ships in one day. I don't think shipping would be much within the city limits.
Here's the address:
Red Deer
#20 5250 22nd St.
Red Deer, Alberta
T4R 2T4
(403) 309-9340
Hope this helps.

She said thats on the south end and that she called at 3 today and they said the cheapest one they had was 30 bucks (looks like the logitech). Either the saleguy was lazy or they ran out today...Ill guess the first. I ordered it from ncix.com already. Thanks for the helpful link...came out to about $20, but thats canadian. Don't know how much that is American, but its less than $20.
Side question for future reference - How is "Canadian post" shipping in speed and reliability? Comparable to USPS?
I paid the 2 extra bucks for UPS Ground because I figure better safe than sorry.
Thanks again.

Canada Post is actually pretty good. Xpress Post is very reliable and I use it for everything except big/expensive items (where xpresspost cost more then FedEx, or when the Insurance limit is reached ($1000 Canadian))

CAD$
I believe the current conversion rate for USD->CAD is (1.5)*(USD AMOUNT)=CANADIAN$AMOUNT
I can't believe anyone here didn't have an extra they were willing to let go for free or just for shipping...heck, I'da done it...may not be the newest keyboard, but they still work! And I sure don't needem'. Though I think they're all the old plug in...but there's some adapters around here somewhere...it's a dam mess in my house.
