Sliglhtly confused...
I see a lot of bad rep running through ComputerHQ's veins around here. I just recently did a decent size research project for my own needs of new and reliable vendors for PC parts, and ComputerHQ was one of the few with a flawless record that I found on the BBB site. Now, from what I have read here, there's no way in hell I'm going to purchase from them as many of the problems posted are quite similar to ones I'm trying to avoid repeating.
My confusion, however, is not here, as I am willing to bet that the info here is at least %90 reliable (there's always someone who screwed it up theirself, but due to their ignorance in the first place, blame it elsewhere, and the select few who are never satisfied). So how is it that a company as such has managed to keep a squeeky clean record with the BBB? I've heard some baaaadd things about the BBB before...but never though much about it...maybe I should start thinking now...
I'm actually quite disappointed as NewEgg does have an excellent rating here, but I can not approve of their policy in which I must agree to in order for my purchase to go through. I WILL NOT pay for any costs incurred due to a vendor making a mistake on their part. This is NOT accaptable under any means, and would be illegal if it were not a term you must accept before ordering. But the choices in parts is kindling down to nothing: you either have to deal with a dishonest crook, or agree that the crooked actions are acceptable (the "up front and honest" crook). Please let me know of any vendors that do not fall into these two catergories.
