Howdy, and welcome to TechIMO!

You wouldn't happen to be in the US military, would you? I ask, because I don't know how else you could get service from the USPS overseas. That's the boat I'm in....stationed in Japan, and I have trouble finding reasonable shipping rates.

If so I might have some ideas for you, otherwise, I dunno!

~Edit: Unless there's some other way to get service from USPS that I'm not aware of.

Quite a problem I see those US rates are very nice, but have to pay more locally here, but still cheaper to get it here than order it in the US and pay all post&taxes

Howdy! The best place I've found for reasonable shipping via USPS is www.compgeeks.com. They're somewhat of a liquidator, so their stock doesn't always consist of the latest and greatest, and changes rapidly. They've always charged me the normal postage rate for Priority mail. For example, I ordered a barebones system a few weeks ago (26lbs), and they charged me $18 shipping.

Now that I think about it, that's the only place that is consistently fair on shipping. I like Newegg, but they really put it to me for shipping. For example, I bought an OEM video card from them, and shipping was $20! The actual postage on the label was $3.90.

What I normally do now is order from a place that offers decent shipping within the US, and have it sent to a family member, then have them mail it on to me. Not the fastest, but it beats paying the outrageous rates.

That's probably not a lot of help to ya, but maybe some of our "truly" international members will come along ond offer more ideas. Best of luck!

Yeesh! Well, you'd come out ahead buying from the US and paying about any shipping amount, then!

Opps, we missed Alixxx saying hello. Welcome to TechIMO!

Ok, I have a VERY NEWBIE sellers question. For those that want to ship to the US or other countries, is there a hassle shipping computer parts across borders? I have a quantity of equipment that I want to offer but have no idea about shipping options and such. Anyone with info for me?

Thanks!
