View Poll Results: Have all your RMA returns been credited to your credit/debit card ?
I have never had an RMA where the Merchant did not actuallu credit my account as promised;I know, beause I follow up with credit/debit card to verify the actaul credit. 7 70.00%
I ahve had a least on problem when the Merchant failed to post the credit after receiving the return, but ultimately credited my accout.[Same verification as above] 0 0%
I ahve had at least one experience when the Merchant made it necessary to keep pursuing the actual credit of my monry; but ultimately prevailed.. 0 0%
Merchant took the RMA merchandise and made it near impossible to collect the refund , even after determined effort on my part. RMA = Returned Merchandise Appropriated. 2 20.00%
Truth be told, it's hard to say if all were credited. My credit/debit takes a long time to post a credit so I may have forgotten about an RMA credit due me. Can't say if all have been credited or not. 1 10.00%

RMA: Empty promise or money in the bank ?

RMA's are are fact of Internet shopping. Sooner or later, You'll have one. What has been your experience--not with Co.'s issuing RMA's -- but in actuallycrediting your account once the dust settles ?

Take this poll and let's see how we stand on this.

MegalosSkylaki

P.S. Most Merchants largely are honest I hope--and mistakes do happen. But I am focusing on Merchants who are negligent in having effective procedures set up to insure the credit (although their debit procedures are quite efficient) or , alternatively-

May even be counting on Customers assuming the credit and forgetting to verify it; sort of like Rebates relying on the non-mailers (or raising frivalous objections). Not always easy to spot a non-credit when the Credit card Cos. themselves drag their feet in posting them.

ThanX

Truth be told, I've never needed this myself. Others in my experience say that the process can be unbearable...

Maybe you should add an option for people loke me that have been lucky and not needed RMA...

Dear Folkes, Nice to have you visit but your truthful vote would be more helpful.

If there is a problem , let's know about it. If not, thn those Co.s that do have problem , should stand out.

I had intended the Difference between choice second and third to be Co. that needs some prodding but responds to it and Co. which pays only after a major ordeal or your part.

Thank You Everybody !
