THE DIGITAL HUNTER IS A SCAM! WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!

THE DIGITAL HUNTER IS A SCAM! WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!

Bought a $700 canon camera from them about 3 months ago today. First problem: Sent me a complete different model then what I ordered. Called them and they told me to return the camera and they will ship me the one I ordered.
So I did.. Needless to say I had to pay ($10) for return shipping also. It's been over 2 months now and countless phone conversations later and I have yet to see the camera I ordered. Every time I would call they would tell 1-2 weeks. ALL LIES! 4 days ago I called them again and told them I want my money back ASAP! They of course... told me 24-48 hrs and it will be back on your debit card. Guess what???... I have yet to see one cent refunded back to my card. My guess is I am out $710 now!!

TOTAL SCAM AND ALL LIES!!! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN!

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! ******* STAY AWAY!!! ************

The Digital Hunter is Scam

I ordered a Nikon D7000. As similar to other stories I found out on the phone that the camera is not the one I was expecting. I cancelled the order; however I couldn't get my money back. No replies to mails or phones.
Can anyone advice if there is legal way to pursue them.

Contact your credit card company

Contact your credit card company. If item is not delivered after a reasonable amount of time, your credit card company can get the money back.

It IS a SCAM

It is a SCAM! They NEVER were accredited by BBB, I DID a research on that, they just put BBB symbol on their website. They lie all the time, I am trying to recover my $ 2,400.00 they illegally charged my card for sending a wrong product . Never wanted to refund me even thought their refund policy is stated on their website as 60 days...

I'm sorry to hear about that. I hate when you order something and pay for it only for it never to come. There should be a way for you to get back what you owe.

JUST THING HAPPENED TO ME

WOW,
How does this company stay in business? Only after I threatened legal action and because they knew an attorney would get involved since they performed illegal use of charging my credit card without an order number or finalized transaction, did i just receive an email that they have "graciously cancelled my order". HOW does this company, which is also known as Digital Depot, probably because of fraud causing a name change, continue to have such high marks on Nextag?????????

DIGITAL"SCAM"HUNTER.COM

"I ordered a 'brand new" camera on April 6 that was to be delivered in 10-15 business days. When it arrived on MAY 5th , ONE MONTH LATER , I opened the box to find a white box with a LABEL MAKER STICKER that said canon t2i. When I opened that box , there was the camera that I ordered with no original boxing or warranty card/info, just wrapped in bubble wrap and two accessories I ordered loosely jingling around in the box. One of these accessories wasn't even what I ordered and the other was a wide angle lens converter that was missing the piece that actually attaches it to the camera. When I called to ask where the missing piece was , the customer service manager told me that it was my fault and that I was the one that probably lost it.....LMAO!
I can face the fact that I'm screwed and there's nothing I can do about it now , but my saving grace is that 3 of my friends from class as well as my teacher who were all interested in making a similar purchase from them are now aware of how they handle customers since I made the call on speakerphone and recorded it. We have since found a few other sites with better deals and have spent well over $12,000 combined from one of these sites. Even got to show the recorded call to the school administrator who was also interested in making a purchase. Now we all just laugh at them. THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES DIGITALHUNTER!!"
