Glowing RR reviews posted by company staff?
When you find that a company has many glowing reviews, yet there are mixed in reviews from people incurring the very same problem as you, do you wonder that company employess are submitting these glowing reviews and not real customers? Best Price Electronics tried to hard sell me extras when I ordered a camera at a good price. They lied and told me it was shipping and my order is still pending. I looked for the bad reviews and found those people had incurred the very same issues with this company that goes by a second name as well with a poor RR rating.
I thought I had researched the company well, but I guess not well enough. So, don't believe all the reviews you read here either. Funny how this one review by she*******, kept showing up at the top of every review page.
Hummmm. Food for thought?

| Sorry, Cindy, but I read your review and frankly I do not understand you complaint...
Any and all orders should be received in a fortnight, unless it is beyond the control of an etailer...
In such an occurrence, the customer should demand a deliver date or kill the order...
This company has not only a high rating but also glowing reviews...Only on page six are the reviews bad...
I would not purchase from them for the following reason:
Brooklyn, NY 11204
UPDATE: You are correct about a review appearing on the top of every page, Cindy!

I know of at least 2 companies that had their employees write good reviews during their slow times.
It's a common practice, I'm guessing with many of the shady companies that perform illegal overcharges as a company practice (hello Tigerdirect) but have many good reviews, are due to this. As my example, check out many of the other review sites for TD and they are horrible, but somehow good here?

I generally agree, but bought a Canon T1i from Pavillion Electronics in Brooklyn. No calls, no upcharges, no delays. Item arrived quickly, new with all packing materials and warranty. I generally use B&H but they were out of stock on the body.

You will never order anything again from there. Couple of years ago, a guy actually went to all the listed addresses of those camera shops and took pictures of those locations and posted them: Brooklyn Camera/Electronic Dealer StoreFronts |
