I bought this pc in June, and it has everything I need! I do a lot of digital video, and my current pc wasn't working hard enough for me. I had thought about upgrading it and buying Pinnacle along with their breakout box, but that would run me close to a thousand dollars. I saved up my money and went to buy this machine at Aldi's. My brother had bought a laptop there and was pretty satisfied. Besides, I couldn't beat the price. Anyway, all they had left was the display model, so they sold it to me for $600!! They had a bunch of other stuff they wanted to get rid of, so i got a wireless optical mouse and a 5.1 surround sound system for half price. I am very pleased with this machine. It is quiet, fast, and interfaces very well with my digital video. It saved me from having to buy a breakout box. The tech support is great also. I've called a couple of times at 2 or 3 in the morning, and got through right away. I do have one problem though that maybe one of you could help out with. I uploaded my video just fine with one of the many 1394 ports this computer includes, but I'm having trouble outputting the video to tape. It may be just the program I use (Pinnacle) does not recognize the video out. I also don't know how to get the whole screen to fit on my tv that is hooked up through the tv out. Sorry this message is so long; just wanted to send out a lot of praise for the Titanium MD 8000. It rocks my world.

Yes ALOT of things change in Four Months friend, lol. Especially in the hardware world. All in all a very good system, if your savvy bump the TI-4400 for the 4200, the 4200 clocks better/faster with air cooling. Also, if you are going to get it for gaming I would choose the Radeon 6000, hands down a better video card then the 4200 and cheaper unless you can find a Sapphire laying around which for 160 bucks will get you Radeon 8000 performance with a simple software utility. The jumper tweak for that card caused some serious artifacting on AMD systems in my experience which brings me to my second point. Have you looked at Intel's prices? You definitely might like too because the performance gap can be HUGE.

I bought a computer from Aldis in 2001. I am still using it today. Still does great, of course it does not compare to the above mentioned computers, but i am looking for another from Aldis to replace it. The monitor quit last year.

@ deadgame,

my posting happened 7 years ago...!!!
A lot of time.

FYI:
I have still an ALDI PC running (24/7 for biz issues) that is from 2003.
No probs. XP Prof SP3.
Then I have a 2core ALDI PC from 2008.
All fine. VISTA Ultimate SP 2.

ALDI/MEDION PCs do a fine job. Mine were always reliable.

Best regards,
Manfred
