Beware: Vendor Alert
Before doing business with Origin8rs Global, Inc.-located in Anahiem, CA I should have done a google search 1st. I did that yesterday in frustration and found a previous post from a factory in China that was not paid for services rendered. She wondered if she should do business with American's. She should do business with American's just not with Origin8rs Global, Inc. and neither should anyone else. I placed an order for two items on August 18, 2010 and have paid the company $3,460.00 and have not received a single item. The owner Sam Samtani has not returned emails or phone calls in days. This is a long story and includes two products-I will make it brief. The two items were: a custom made metal pin that had lights underneath and a lightup pen. After weeks of back and forth regarding the pin, a sample pin was finally produced. However, it was completely wrong and exactly the way the client did NOT want the pin to be like. After letting Sam know, he stated that he knew that it was all wrong and he would go back to the factory. Frustrated that he would take the time to send me a product that he knew was completely wrong with no explanation and knowing it took double the time he quoted for a poor product, I cancelled the order and asked that the funds for the pin be applied to the remaining balance owed on the lightup pens when they were ready to ship-he agreed. For the past several weeks I have been asking and asking for shipping information on the pens which were approved for production 2 weeks ahead of the pin fiasco. Finally last week he provided a "master tracking number" with UPS and that as soon as he had the individual tracking numbers he would let me know. I have asked for the individual tracking numbers every day since his last email he sent with the "master tracking number"-no replies. After speaking with UPS, the "master tracking number" was a fake and no such number existed. I then contacted Sam via email and phone many times and let him know what I found after speaking with UpS and offered him the opportunity to remedy the situation-he's never responded. My offer was to contact the factory directly and pay them the balance owed as well as the shipping costs if he would just supply the factory contact. I understand that it would cost me more money, but it would be less expensive to do that then start all over with another vendor. Also, I don't have the luxury of time now and need the product immediately. At this point I don't know whether the pens were ever produced. As of today, I have contacted the Fraud Department of Anaheim and will add a thread if I discover there have been other complaints filed against Origin8rs Global, Inc. If you have had a similar experience with this company, please respond to this thread. Thank you.
