Best Buy, I hate you (again)
Long story short, I tried to get a $399 42" Ensignia plasma TV. My order was delayed and I was refused floor stock for fulfillment. A nice rep found a store with stock, and switched my pickup location, and the real trouble started there.
Less than an hour later I received notice that my order could not be fullfilled. Best Buy reps have shuffled me off with promises that they won't or can't fulfill, and have so far failed to note their promises or even much of the conversation in the notes. I've been polite and understanding so far, but today that's about to change. Since it's apparent I'm just going to get run in circles and lied to I'm cutting up my Best Buy card and putting them back on my no-shop list.
It was a real simple task, Best Buy. Get me a 42" Plasma TV like you originally stated you would, for the price you had. Your personnel's actions were the cause for this issue, not my own. Other stores are doing the models (or identical enough) you refused to price match for very low prices right now, but you just want to jerk me around and tell me the TV can't be delivered to me nor picked up at any of my area stores, and refuse to price match your similar models. My dad's without a TV and I've been trying to get you to make good on your word for ten days now, with ZERO luck.

LOL, I'm so full of hot air. I called right after that and I couldn't even get mad. The person I talked to that time was too friendly, AND she was both willing and able to get me a 42" Plasma for $399, made it the samsung, and tossed in a two year warranty.
There was a little bit of a mixup with the charging situation at the store when I picked it up, but at least I got my dad's TV.
While I am finally satisfied, it took too long and it irks me that the personnel who were either unable or unwilling to get me fixed up after a mistake was made on their end.
But what really got my goat was when I would talk to one rep I would find out the last rep didn't note their promises or statements or even totally misrepresented what actually took place between us*, and did quite the job trying to make me look like a liar. For that reason I will still be avoiding Best Buy for a while now...again.
* one note said "order cancelled by customer who didn't cancel" - you know how that gets interpreted by support personnel down the line, but they HAD to cancel in order to re-enter the order or I would likely get nothing (or so they told me), and then they put that crap in there

Yes - eventually they will get me back with their prices and promises...and we'll repeat the cycle, like the neighbor couple.
