modchip.ca bad customer support

long story short:
6/10/2010 i places an order for one of there products little did i realize it was on so called "pre-order" status i checked there unprofessional back-ordered page and it was not there so i assumed they had it in stock.

6/15/2010 still not even shipped i contacted there support waited for there "quicker" response and still no answer. i also posted a bad review via this site and that's when i finally got an email asking if i would like a refund i promptly sent an email back saying yes.

6/16/2010
still no response back to that email he sent me and im starting to get annoyed all i want is a full refund and it will be resolved.

i finally got a response stating that a refund would cost me $20 to cancel , and he asked yet again if would still like it i asked if that is the combined total of shipping and the price of the item itself i responded almost instantly and yet no response back yet. this BS is getting old and if he would respond quicker i would be much happier person right now the average response time is now once a day which completely blows because i was hoping to have my refund today so i could order it from the other site

btw: $20 fee is BS $10 i would be find with but $20 what the heck.

okay so i got a response! yep 2 in one day a new record for them. they told me i would have to pay them an Additional $20 to get my $74.90 i paid back. that's a total investment of 94.90 if i don't get my initial $74.90 back. i thought they would just take there fee off the top of what i paid. so i have a choice do i pay the extra $20 and pray to the gods they give me my refund or do i sit and wait until they send me the infectus which is in "pre-order" status but yet does not have a date attached to it as to when there going to ever have them instock again if ever. they just have a ??? by it.

so i have decided not pay that crazy $20 fee..so now they have my $74.90 they refused to give me a refund for a crazy reason something about credit card processing fee's? other sites do not charge a credit card processing fee on refunds maybe a restocking fee but there is nothing to restock! so either they give me a full refund or send me my product asap or i am going to take legal action against them. this is my last update for awhile.

Did you contact your Credit Card Company and try to cancel the deal?

so after raising hell and writing bad reviews about them on any website i could find..several strongly worded emails they are giving me a full refund without those "fees". ill update you on when i get the refund in my bank account ...im happy about that atleast
