Why can't I see my review when I log out?

I posted a "2 checkmark" review of a store a few days ago. Earlier today, the store replied to my review, so that meant that everyone could see it. Then I edited my review to respond to their reply.

I just noticed that if I log out, I cannot see my review of the store. But if I log back in, I see the review! What the...???

I'm not sure if the review was visible to everyone before, but since the store responded earlier today, I'd have to think that it was. Maybe after I edited my review today, something happened? Everything in my review was truthful, and contained no profanity or anything like that.

It's really weird, when I'm logged in, my review appears in the store's list of reviews, and the site also says I have 2 reviews, and I can see both of them. But when I log out, my review does not appear in the store's list of reviews, and when I click on my reviews, it only shows the review I posted several months ago. It does not show the review I posted a few days ago.

What's going on? Is resellerratings trying to trick me into thinking my review got posted when it's not? Did the store complain to resellerratings? Very strange.

Stores participating in the Merchant Member program have 48 hours to preview newly submitted reviews before the reviews go public. It is an encouragement period for merchants to hopefully resolve any issues presented in reviews.

My review was posted on 3/2, and I am now seeing reviews from 3/3 posted for that store, but I still don't see my review if I'm logged out.

I offered the usual reason, though merchant reviews are not my department. I have forwarded your inquiry to our merchant review administrator for further evaluation of your specific situation.

Every time you edit your review it goes back into the 48- hour pending activation cycle. Your review was edited on 3/4/10 12:14 PM thus it is currently scheduled to reactivate at or about 3/6/10 12:14 PM.
