Dellco, like other mass producers, delight in meeting the "wow" look at that price honey... In doing so, generic products such as PSUs, enter the market place.
The mass builders realize, that these less than high quality parts will fail...I am sure, that Dellco knows that their white box PSUs may have a failure rate up to 5%, but do so to maintain the "wow" factor...
From my perspective, any computer part that fails within five years (not including any OC ) is not worth the price...
