Black Egg Day.
Normally, I am a major booster, but today one of links in the chain has been weaken...
I wanted to order four items, but two were no longer in stock....One item was a HDD and the other a DVD burner... ...
Then I placed one order and it did not go through.... ..I placed a second order and it did not go through...
The problem with Egg, is that they do not even give one an order number with finished, so until you check your email, you have no idea that the order is finial...
You leave them with a phone number and they never use it when there is an issue or problem....Then why in the hell do they fu**** ask in the first place...
Well, guess what EGGHEADS, you lost an order for two hard drives and if you continue to provide bad service, which I certainly feel you did, I will go else where...
Today's EGGUP, cost me around two hours of my time, which I can not afford to do...You have been a wonderful company, but if your stock is thin and your website is poorly managed, then I will go elsewhere....
STRIKE ONE, egger and lets hope it is the last....

| Look at this drop down box, with the selections of: untitled, card 1 and new card...Other than the latter, what the hell does the others mean????
The other thing that is so stupid, is the security box that comes on at the end, no matter that this is my twentieth order, they ax for another password, which can not be stored... ... ...
Egg, you are beginning to crack....

My shopping experience at the Egg has been excellent over the past 5 years.

I just placed an order an hour ago and it was a piece of cake as usual.
AND, as soon as I clicked the submit button - it did it's verifing Credit Card thing and ended with an "Order Confirmation" with order number... Thank you for ordering from Newegg.com. Please print this page for your records. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to XXXXX
I think frostbitetwice forgot to turn on his pc before placing order ...Oooops I meant forgot to sign into his account.

The same day, I tried to order on Chief Egg Value, the first order was declined and so was the second...The third one went through, which prompted a call to customer service...
The gal said I placed three orders for the same item.....
Please, do not let anyone tell you that they can not have software issues when using their order and check out process.... Hear is the Scorecard.
I ordered from four companies in the last week...
1) SVC.com-------no problems
2) Provantage------no problems
3) SIIG.com--------no problems
4) Chief Egg Value--ordering problems
5) New Egg---------ordering problems
Does anyone see a trend hear?
BTW, used a different rig to order with 4 & 5 and encountered the same issues...

| Received the Chief "Egg" Value order today, in four days...It came in a Egg labeled box...
Received the Egg order in five days...No complain, however, they did have the PSU sitting on top of the OS CD!!

Since it's an online order can you not just go into your account and see that the order is there and what the order number is?

I think frostbitetwice forgot to turn on his pc before placing order ...Oooops I meant forgot to sign into his account. | I find that credit card verification process to be a royal pain...They worry about fraud, but are willing to store consumers credit number on line.... Quote:

I find their order procedure less than friendly...(see image in post 2) So too is the final step of the credit card verification...Also, when a order does not go through, they do not tell you were the error was made....
BTW, can they not track orders with an IP address?

| The credit card verification process should take under 18 SECONDS. Have you considered buying for local stores |
