I haven't tried their service before.. Hmmm... Wow. The feedbacks are definitely good. Seems like NewEgg is really one of the best out there eh? Will try to consider them next time.

cbehrendt is infamous around these parts
I have had problems with newegg recently. My order is still in the processing status, and it has been 2 days almost. Pretty sure something is wrong with the verifying department, but customer service won't look into whats wrong.

Ahhh been a long time i since i been on this site shopping for a new laptop once again, the memories..... lol.

Anyway the only place i order from anymore is the egg period. Every single time i deal with them i get what i pay for and some usually. Any problems i have work out usually the best they could work out compared to most companies i've dealt with.

Asus notebooks from the egg. Because after it's out of newegg's hands I've had great times with asus also even on products that just lost their warrenties etc.

But they are by far the best to buy prebuilt notebooks and pc parts. After my experience with flawless lol i just mainstream only now. Sorry little guys.

Newegg has turned into one of those companies that will fix something that is easy for them, but if it is a big problem that will cost them money you are on your own. Ordering from them used to be reliable, but now is like playing the lottery. Its a business decision, and that's fine if you tell people, like Woot does. But when you masqurade as a customer service company it is downright misleading, if not fraudulent. I am gone for good. There are plenty of other good options out there.

agree newegg is great... but

I love newegg.com. I have been shopping for years. Sometimes amazon or other sites may have a cheaper price. The only other place i would buy from is amazon. I love buying books at amazon for a couple of dollars. Saves money buying trees. But for computer components, you can't bet their regular prices, and their sales are great. I missed the tomtom gps 140s for 99 bucks. Blackfriday it was 59 but they sold out so quick, some orders got cancelled. Made some people made, but I waited and got a 340s from amazon at a 20 dollar savings with free shipping. The only problem with them is on some items they have slower then 3 day shipping, and they want you to pay them to process your oder quicker. amazon ships it right away. I got win 7 upgrade on the release date, but a week later from newegg. They sent on the release date even though they promised, but they refunded one of my orders, so I got a copy for free. It pays to complain, they will respond, and if they don't tell them you will write them up here. You will get action. Sometimes you have to insist on talking to a supervisor, but they will fix things. They looked at how much money I spend at their store, and thougt we don't want to loose him as a customer. I agree about bestbuy, they are not so great. Frys electronics has some great sales but, you have to buy quick or the only thing available is in store pickup. I live 450 miles from a store, so I can't pick it up. A shame, that is why newegg is great. Just watch the shipping espeically on sale items like ink or small things. Make sure you ship 3 day ups. So even if I order on Sunday, they ship it on Monday, and it won't hit the UPS truck until Tuesday or Wed, unless you pay the rush order processing. You shouldnt have to pay to get your order. So they have some things they need to fix. But I buy from them, if you RMA send with tracking for proof. A friend lost 179 bucks on a graphics card a few years back. It that seems the time that the shipping thing was a problem. I miss fedex as I used to get it ahead of time, UPS will hold an oder even if it is here days earlier then newegg promised. At least they bring to the door. Fedex is a different story. So fedex needs to learn about customer service.

Newegg problems

I ordered a couple products from Newegg about 2 years ago, they really messed up. After leaving them a couple emails and them calling me on a couple occasions (after bad reviews), they did eventually make it right, sending me a USB Bluetooth transceiver for free in the end. It took so long to get it straightened out, I never actually used the BT, it's still new in the box and probably an antique by now. Recently, after so many positive reviews, I took advantage of one of their shocker deals I decide to try them again. I ordered about $300 of misc gear. Only just now when I checked up on that order about 2 weeks old did I just discover they canceled it. That's a real shocker.
No Memo in SO#91519402 (Please Newegg check it and explain to me why this was canceled and not even an email).

I order about 80% of everything I own now online, I really want to like Newegg, but they just keep dropping the ball on me. I refuse to lower my rating (1) of them, because I can't and because I really believe in the company.

Another chance

I just renewed and modified my order, dropping the item I think that may have caused the problem (one of their shocker deals). Will see if and how they deliver.

I'm hopeful, really like this company otherwise.
