ebay8.com (and/or HongWeiTrade.com) scam

I had a rather unfortunate experience with this vendor. Communication was OK with multiple emails until they had my money via Western Union (Yes, I should know better)... then not a word and no goods delivered. Multiple emails sent by me requesting clarification were ignored. They did respond to me when I spoofed another purchase inquiry using a different email address, so I know they are there. The amount of money lost was not huge so I will toss it up to lesson learned and move on.

So please add http://ebay8.com to the list of China website scammers. My experience is that they will take your money and give you nothing in return. Payment is by bank transfer, Western Union or Money gram only. All money payable to a person only (not a company).

Of note here is www.hongweitrade.com. This site has a mirrored/nearly identical website to ebay8.com and, in my opinion, are the same people. Both these vendors should be avoided at all costs.

I have added an appropriate review of ebay8.com to resellerratings, hoping to prevent someone else from making my mistake.

What were you thinking??? Western Union, Bank Transfer, and Money Gram those type of payments are for scammers...Only time you should use those type of payments is when sending money to friends & family or a trustable company( with phone number & actual location). I hope you learn your lesson my friend.

My favorite uncle- a man who grew up poor before government welfare and when America had real poverty- worked his way up to become a master small businessman. When I worked for him, in my teen years, he was always teaching me, as his own son had no interest in business or working for that matter. Spoiled, he went to six years of college (mostly to have fun) and choose (note this) to be a psychologist as he saw talking in circles to be a great way to look important and make money without doing any real work. His take, not mine.
Like Dr. Phil, he owns a mansion today.

My uncle taught me a lot. Things you cannot get from any school. He taught me owning a home is a luxury not an investment and that home ownership subjects you to government thieves who can squeeze you for property taxes. Never buy big ticket priced items new (Cars, major appliances, boats).

Above all, he taught me that Con men can take your money only if you have a character weakness they can exploit. Never be greedy. Never expect something for nothing or offers of a deal so good that you are benefiting from the seller's misfortune.

If "it" seems too good to be true, its a con looking for a greedy fool.

Heed this simple wisdom and a con like Bernie Maddow or ebay8.com can never take you.
