Repair facility recommendations

With all the computer related reviews I've read in an assortment of magazines, I have never seen a review of repair facilities. Has anyone come across such an article? I'm looking for a dependable and trustworthy site for laptop repair.
Something other than the brand name support sites that are expensive and I don't trust.
