widowpc, cybertronpc a good store to buy a new computer and maybe custom?
I'm looking for a new computer and I haven't bought a custom built computer before. I've had several computers, all the cookie cutter kind, emachines(desktop), HP(desktop), gateway(laptop). They all ran(run) with pretty much no problems with the hardware for their lifespan. I've never paid over 600 bucks for a computer and I don't have any intention of paying that much more if possible. The problem is I want more power to actually play a few games, something with a decent video card and something that looks cool as well. I'm looking at budget gaming computers basically.
I've been considering cyberpowerpc, hp, dell for a few months now. I'm scared off by all three though because of other folks bad experiences with them. Dell and HP get about one good review for every ten here). I kind of trust them but their computers are not that powerful or sharp looking for that matter. Then there is cyberpowerpc where it seems it's very likely to receive a computer in non functioning condition, loose parts, broken parts, loose wires ect. Since I don't know how to build computers or install hardware upgrades, that could be a big problem for me.
Right now I'm more leaning towards widowpc(visionman) and cybertronpc. I don't know much about them other then they are fairly small with about maybe about 10-30 employees. There are just a bunch of old reviews on them here. I was thinking widowpc because they supposedly build their computers in Arizona. So, they're a Colorado company but build in Arizona? I live in Colorado and I was thinking a shorter transit distance would maybe save me from a computer that might get damaged. I'm a little skeptical about the quality of the parts they use and the care takin' in the building process though. I'd imagine it couldn't be any worse than a 400-500 dollar major brand computer I've bought in the past right? I plan on getting a pre configured one from widowpc if I decide to go that route instead of a custom. Then there is cybertonpc located in Wichita KS and I'm looking at them as well for some of the same reasons. They seem to have better known parts and I like how I can customize it. The problem is with all of these is I don't know if they properly test, burn in and assemble their computers. They don't tell you much at thier websites cybertronpc.com widowpc.com . Any suggestions, comments, other info?

Well I work for Cybertron pc i actually run inventory control and do the parts pulling. As far as you concerns regarding testing we do a 48 hour burn in ensure that our computers go out and are working properly. We sell very quality machines i buy my personal stuff from work. Alot of Asus, Gigabyte, and Intel products. We use Western Digital, Seagate, and Intel mostly for hard drives But we custom order to suit any customers needs. Good company and great owners I have worked their 5 years and they have treated me very well and they approach their customers the same way.

You might want to check out Maxforcepc.com. Ratings are very good and I don't see anything negative w/ them. I bought a Digital Storm pc a year ago, but I probably buy my next pc (this winter) from Maxforcepc. Cheaper and the choices are stupendous (and bewildering). But, they also have ready to go pc at what appear to be, very good prices.

I can recommend MaxForce from experience, after a year and a half of heavy use,my gaming system is still going strong, without a single problem. I checked on just about every builder out there, and Max had the best prices, warranty, and selection of quality components,as well as custom overclocking.
