Hi all. New to these forums and this business and was wondering if you could help me determine the legitimacy of a Hong Kong seller I found. Would appreciate any other suppliers that you've worked with in the past.

This seller Dzone2 on Alibaba.

Dzone2 - Dropship, Bulk order, Digital camera
*free account so that's one red flag

BUT, they're a reputable ebayer:
eBay UK Shop - Digital Camera: Canon IXUS Power Shot EOS, Sony Cyber-Shot, Pansonic Lumix DMC

They've got an official site and the whois lookup seems legit:
dzone2.com WHOIS domain registration information from Network Solutions

My girlfriend's brother lives about 1 mile from their physical address so I'm going to have him check them out. Plus he's a cop.

So far in all my communications with them (email) they seem to be very professional unlike the typical scammer. If they turn out legit, I'd like to place a sample order for a camera grip. Please let me know your thoughts.

What country do you live in?

How much money would you save if you buy from this company compared to one down the street from where you live? Is the saving enough to risk being ripped off?

Moreover, I would stay away from anything to do with Alibaba.con....
