Crimson, I do applaud you for your actions... This companies get away with this nonsense, because most consumers simply grumble about it and then walk away...

Companies involved in unethical business practices, need to be boycotted or put out of business.

The AG should request a purchase order and if the Sony products where never order, they should be closed immediately...

This would end this type of chicanery....

Like I have said before, never buy from any merchant from NYC unless they have stellar reviews....

your absolutely right! i've learned my lesson. i'm not an experienced internet shopper but i learn something new every time. i just had one of those gut feelings and after i checked it out it confirmed my vibe. I will take your advice and pass it along to others! its funny how the guy got mad at me and insisted its because of 28... i read on plenty of other sites.. even a blog were people were getting ripped off hundreds by buying their flashes and lenses. i dont like knowing people are getting hurt and not doing anything about it. hope dr. comes around... what else can i do in the meantime? contact NYC's Att.gen? is it something i should wait to have more proof?

They screwed with the wrong person...I am glad your story got pick-up by that blog...

Regarding the rating at the BBB, it makes no cents to me...This company is rated a C-, but they have no information on them...

Please report them to the AG, lets all work towards short circutings this company...

i am contacting him through email right now. i found a complaint form online. i will follow up in a week if i dont hear anything by phone and i will let you know! i defiantly think it warrants a AG call


EDIT! just got done.. it turned out to be a print and mail so i'm mailing it out tomorrow first thing! i even printed pictures for the AG so he can see what i'm talking about
