Anyone bought from Tom Tom recently? I purchased a map on
July 17th and they sent me a flyer on the 22nd with the price if the map $12 cheaper. I called their customer servive and they more or less blew me off. I'll never buy from them again.
TomTom's products may be cheaper, but Garmin's GPS line does a much better job of routing and the Garmin customer service can't be beat. I called them once with a small GPS problem and they offered a complimentary map upgrade! I'm their customer for life.
I bought a new TomTom and opened it to find out that the map was outdated. The code for the "free map update" that was in the box was expired. I called customer service and they would not give me a map update and wanted $80 to update my map and subscribe to future map updates. Terrible customer service!
