AM/FM/CD player recommendations?

In the under 50.00 range, I am looking for a radio useful for playing cd's as I fall asleep (radio needs a sleep timer)plays FM and has decent reception. Outside of Sony which lasted only 2 months before the cd function quit, are there decent radios still made in the under 50.00 range?
