Avoid dealextreme at all cost !
It was my worst online shopping experience.
The worst part of them is their so called forum. It's a place where some "moderators" and "top users" who claim to be simple customers (I really doubt it), cencor and delete posts from complaining customers, insult in a very bad way customers who can't wait forever for shipping, or for a customer care respond and are not helpful at all.
Even if they are not affiliated with dealextreme, the company approves and tolerates this behaviour.
A moderator named "WildOne" banned me from their "forum" because I was complaining about insultations to me and other customers !
They are also tricking customers by telling them that opening a paypal dispute will make the refund process longer. If you open and dispute and post it to the forum, then they are getting rude again !
The truth is that opening paypal dispute and escelating to claim at the same time is the only way for immidiate full refund !
When I cancelled my order (after waiting for ages for dispatching and receiving terrible customer care service), an automatic note said that I would have to wait for refund 15 days.
Then I opened a paypal dispute and received a fake email from dealextreme that a refund was sent (it has happened to others too). Of course there was no refund at all.
After that, I escelated dispute to a claim. In one day paypal issued a full refund to me.
So, avoid DealExtreme ! If you have made an order and you're having troubles, just go to paypal. It's the only solution.
