Just got an email today from circuitcity.com. It seems that "Systemax" has purchased the CC name, website and customer records. I myself opted out as I have no use for their website.

Could be helpful to stay connected as the new owner's try and build the circuit city brand back up they might offer some great discounts and member loyalty rewards. Who knows.

The Flagler street location is the headquarters for Tiger Direct. I used to work there for a short period while I lived in Miami. They pay little money, the sales people literally have to raise their hand and ask to go to the bathroom. The managers walk around screaming at the sales people to upsell all day.
