Newegg wasted two weeks of my time..

I've had a lot of good experiences with Newegg but I knew my time was running out. I made a simple order of a cordless keyboard/mouse combo--at least it sounded simple. They of course sent the email stating my credit card had been charged and then that was it.

A few days pass no confirmation or shipping email so I contact their live chat on morning before leaving for work. I explained and they said they'd find out what was going on and send an email. So what happened? NOTHING.

Talked to live chat again two days later and they quickly looked and said they didn't know why I hadn't received the shipping email because it had shipped and the person gave me the UPS tracking number. Great! Uhhh no,the tracking number was BOGUS and only showed as "No record of this shipment". I AGAIN contacted them,this time through customer service for the correct tracking number--NO REPLY returned. I figured it might have shipped so I waited another couple of days--no delivery. I emailed customer service AGAIN and said I wanted my credit card refunded as I could buy nearly the same Logitech product locally at Office Depot for a few bucks more.

This time they contact me and say some nonsense about matching prices with OD blah,blah. I emailed them AGAIN and said I don't want a price match,just refund my damn Credit Card. They sent an email showing a credit but it will be the middle of Sept before I find out in my next statement.

Gawd what a hassle. I'll look elsewhere next time...........

One other thing I might add is that I made a review of their crap treatment of me and it has never shown up on RR after 7-8 days. I gave them some glowing reviews over the years and they were up on the boards quickly.

What's up with that?

Sysbuilder04 - I have always had great service from Newegg, even when it was me that made the mistake, had no problems getting my credit card refunded. Something isn't right here- that's what I'm thinking. Either your too impatient or this is a competitor trying to smear. If you do have an honest complaint no worries if newegg messes up they WILL take care of you even if it takes a phone call or three on your part. I have never had good luck with "live chat"- pick up the dang phone!

First off your accusation that I'm a "competitor" of Newegg is patently ridiculous and OFFENSIVE to say the least.

Impatient?!?!?!? About 10 DAYS passed from my Credit Card being charged to me telling them to cancel and refund my CC. They NEVER shipped the item and would NEVER own up to the fact that they never shipped. You call that impatient? I sure as hell don't.

What I'm thinking is your a shill from Newegg "posing" as a real customer who has always bought and gleefully always had good treatment. How's that feel pal?

Hey Don,love how you TRASHED that vendor in your reviews but sure took the time to tell EVERYONE how your "going back to Newegg" Uh huh.....

Sound to me like in your "review" your just way,way to impatient with that vendor and didn't give them any real time to fix the problem.
