Panasonic Phone Warranty Problem
I recently purchased a Panasonic KX-TG9344 phone set and one of the AC adapters was defective. I tried contacting Panasonic via e-mail and it took three weeks before I received an answer. I called and was treated rudley by their consumer service person who, after I requested to speak to a supervisor, hung up the phone on me. I finally received an answer and it was:
"We regret to inform you but the ac adapter is not included in the warranty
of the phone. We suggest that you purchase another ac adapter for your
unit."
This is an AC adapter that did not work out of the box. Their warranty as written in the users manual states:
"This Limited Warranty excludes both parts and labor for batteries, antennas, and cosmetic parts (cabinet)." There is no mention of the AC adapter.
I will be trying a return to the store and buy a phone with a warranty that means something.
