STAY away from this merchant Electronic Components - Obsolete Electronic Components - Electronic Component Distributors - Parts / Components, they will mislead you and F..uck u up. Ordered a chip to fix my TV and the guy over the phone claimed it's 25pcs for $12. Heck, that's a steal so I purchased it online and got the item. Later the bill came and it's $310.05 ($12 each + shipping)..WTF.......I tried resolving the issue with the merchant but denied, disputed the charge through my credit card with email transactions with the merchant proving I was mislead, DENIED due to the merchant's TERM and conditions....NCNR(No Credit No Refund). I am going to Business Bureau to file my complaint.

That is very strange that you charge back was denied.

Unfortunately the BBB wont be able to do much for you, They are not a government agency of any kind and have no more power than you. (although they do love to pretend they do)

I'm also very surprised they wont accept 24 of them back to prevent their name being tarnished.

I am sorry to hear you are having problems with this merchant...

It is important to document all Internet purchases...

You are suggesting that these chips cost about 50 cents each...They charge you 24 times!!

Get two or three quotes from other vendors and present that information to you CCC....

If they still refuse to make a charge back, tell to keep the card and refuse to pay any of it...I did that with Ceststar Bank...

BTW, I would never do any business who request you email to get a quote...That is simple gay....

When buying from an unknown merchant, the consumer is responsible for some due diligences!!

As I suspected, I sent an email requesting a quote from this "company" some 36 hours ago, and never received a response...

I will say this until I am blue in the face, this is one of the most efficient ways to determine whether you wish to deal with a merchant or not..

And the price is right..

I think the goal is to stick to the more reputable places. And also stick around places like this forum to get an idea who you are dealing with
